Isibani, a Zulu word meaning ‘bring the light’, is a love letter to West African cuisine and the Co-founders’ Mother’s Ibo Nigerian heritage.
Located in the heart of Knightsbridge, Isibani delves into traditional recipes and ingredients to deliver an authentic and contemporary dining experience inspired by the food and culture of Africa.

Our menu reflects the traditions, ingredients, and culture of West Africa. Head chef, Victor Okunowo, takes diners on an adventurous journey of flavour with his elevated interpretation of childhood recipes from Nigeria.
Ingredients are exquisitely presented to illuminate their individual elegance, using authentic techniques passed down through the generations. Isibani takes a bold and playful approach, unapologetically capturing the vibrant and varied cuisine of Africa.

Victor Okunowo, Head Chef, Isibani
28 year old Victor is a Nigerian born Londoner, who has worked in some of London’s most esteemed restaurants and was a semi-finalist on the BBC’s Masterchef The Professionals in 2020. Victor draws inspiration from his West African heritage to provide diners with an elevated and vibrant dining experience.
